In our Preschool class, children aged 2 to 4 years engage in a dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum that fosters independence, creativity, and social skills. Our daily activities are tailored to promote sensory exploration, practical life skills, and early learning in a supportive and stimulating environment.

- Sensory Exploration:Children engage in sensory activities such as playing with sand, water, and various textures to enhance their sensory development and fine motor skills.

Preschool Readiness
To ensure that each child is ready to thrive in our Preschool class for ages 2-4, we have established the following guidelines. These criteria help create a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Age Requirement
- Age Range: Children must be between 2 and 4 years old by the start of the semester.
Toilet Training
- Basic Toilet Training: Children should be in the process of toilet training and able to use the bathroom with minimal assistance. Diapers or pull-ups are acceptable for younger children.
Basic Social Skills
- Interaction: Ability to participate in group activities, including sharing, taking turns, and following simple instructions.
- Communication: Ability to express needs, wants, and basic feelings verbally or with gestures.
Self-Care Skills
- Dressing: Ability to manage simple self-care tasks such as putting on and taking off outer clothing with some assistance.
- Eating: Ability to feed themselves independently using utensils and manage snacks or meals.
Motor Skills
- Fine Motor Skills: Ability to handle small objects and engage in activities like drawing or
manipulating playdough.
- Gross Motor Skills: Ability to move independently, including running, climbing, and balancing.
Attention Span
- Group Participation: Ability to engage in short group activities and follow simple directions for a brief period.
Emotional Readiness
- Separation: Comfort with separating from parents or primary caregivers at drop-off.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new routines and environments with some support.
